GIARDINO
A somewhat wilder version of a classic Roman garden, Giardino was hand painted by Maria using a natural palette of lime paints to evoke the spontaneity and opacity of Buon Fresco. The birds have settled-in unseen, adding a sense of stillness to the verdant scene.
LORRAIN
Our classically inspired Lorrain grisaille scenic pays subtle tribute to the monochromatic watercolor sketches of celebrated French artist Claude Lorrain, one of the first artists to focus primarily on the landscape. Its spontaneous brushstrokes and luminous background create a feeling of movement and poetry, casting your furnishings clearly in the foreground.
HOLLYE
Our Hollye bird-and-flower mural prettily bends the rules, blending springtime blossoms with summer-blooming spires. Inspired by a historic Chinoiserie set in a British castle (and our love of hollyhocks and morning glories), our painterly pastel-hued version brightens the room with joie de vie.
VERDURE
Inspired by watercolor landscapes and verdant antique tapestries, our dreamy Verdure mural gently blends the elegance of antique foliage with light, impressionistic brushstrokes. Its soft sky, etherial background and subtle, painted-on-plaster patina complete the tranquil al fresco atmosphere.
